What is an SIA Badge?

An SIA Badge correctly known as an SIA Licence is what all persons working within the Contract Security Industry require to legally work as Security Guards, Door Supervisors, PSS CCTV Operators, Close Protection Officers and Cash in Transit drivers. There are seperate licences for each are, SIA Security Guard Licence, SIA Door Supervisor Licence, SIA PSS CCTV Licence.

 

How do I get an SIA Licence?

Before you can apply for an SIA Licence you need training or SIA Training. SIA Training Centres are in essence private organisations that register with Awarding Bodies to deliver SIA Security Training Courses, SIA Door Supervisor Training Courses, SIA Close Protection Training Courses and SIA PSS CCTV Training Courses. The SIA Training Centre will invigilate the exams on behalf of the awarding body and the results are submitted to The SIA. Once we notify you that you have passed the exam you can apply for your SIA Licence (SIA Badge)
